Welcome to the Institute for Jewish Living, your gateway into a virtual Jewish world. No longer is your access to Jewish life limited to a synagogue or local Jewish center. The Institute for Jewish Living, IJL, can be your portal to a multidimensional online and local Jewish community.
Are you looking for Jewish education for your child? Check out the curriculum in the Bar Mitzvah Boot Camp. Solo and interactive online classroom study takes your student through the training process. Local or destination ceremonies are available with clergy who will travel to you.
How about Adult Ed classes?
Check out our Ed-JEW-cation link. Subjects will range from "Intro to Jewish Holidays" to "Holocaust Studies" to "Jewish History." Video lectures by stimulating speakers will be available online, easily accessed from any computer.
Do you seek enrichment for your mind, body and spirit? Check out Jewrobics an online entryway for physical, mental and spiritual stimulation. Look here for High Holiday, Shabbat and Festival programming and services.
Does your Jewish teen need to be engaged? For teens in small Jewish communities it's hard to stay connected to other Jewish teens. The Facebook generation allows teens to network over cyberspace and create a Jewish social network in order to stay in touch.
